Purpose: This program prepares students to become Emergency Medical Technicians at the National EMT – Intermediate level.

Occupational Objectives

Certified National Registry of EMTs Emergency Medical Technician – Intermediate Admission Requirements: Students must meet the general admissions requirements established by the College. Additionally, applicants must have completed the Emergency Medical Services EMT – Basic Career Studies Certificate or hold a current Commonwealth of Virginia EMT – Basic Certification and have the permission of the program head.
