Paul D. Camp Community College received a $50,000 gift to name the Franklin Campus Board Room in honor of Dr. Patsy Joyner, former long-term Vice President for Institutional Advancement for the College.

“This act really warms my heart, as I have many wonderful memories of working at the College–from my home base in the administrative suite where the board room is located. This kind gesture helps keep me connected to the College and dear friends there,” said Dr. Joyner.

The naming opportunity was made possible through the generous efforts of two anonymous donors in the community. The individuals both formerly served on the Paul D. Camp Community College Foundation Board of Directors.

Dr. Paul Wm. Conco, Paul D. Camp Community College President, said, “Dr. Joyner is a staple in the community and we’re so pleased that she is still part of the College family as one of our newest members of the Foundation Board of Directors. The donors making this gift possible recognized the wonderful accomplishments of Dr. Joyner over her 31 year career with the College and this is an excellent tribute.”
