Complete a career assessment to determine your interests and skills and find out what occupations best fit you. Learn what skills are needed to obtain those occupations, the education required, and schools that offer training for those occupations.

Learn to create a resume, cover letter and setup a free email account. Learn resume basics such as where and how to list your education and professional experience, and what to include in your resume. Learn what information is included in a cover letter. Learn how to set up a free email and email your resume.
- Personal Finance
Learn how to set short and long-term financial goals, how to manage your personal finances, and how to budget your resources so you can stretch your income. Also, learn how to access your free credit report, how to dispute incorrect information, and raise your credit score.
- Job Search in the Virginia Workforce Connection
Do you need employment assistance? Learn where the jobs are and what’s hot right now! You will create a job search account on the Virginia Workforce Connection (VaWC) website, perform a job search and learn about your labor market.
- Interview and Soft Skills
Learn successful interviewing skills for today’s market. We will show you how to prepare for your next interview covering topics such as appropriate dress, attitude, perfume and cologne…to wear or not to wear, the importance of shaking hands and prompt follow-up.
- Dress to Impress – Dressing for Interview Success
Professional preparation for dressing for an interview. You only get that one first impression; learn how ot maintain your image for the job you want.
- Breaking the Barriers – Overcoming Obstacles for Ex-Offenders
