Distance Education for Current Students

Distance Education at Paul D. Camp Community College (PDCCC) uses the Blackboard (Bb) course management system to host course instruction, assignments, discussions, and tests.  PDCCC grants every student the use of student e-mail through GMail upon course enrollment.  The use of both of these technologies allows PDCCC to offer classes in an Online format.  Additionally, many traditionally taught courses also make use of the Blackboard course management system making them Blackboard enhanced.

Students taking an online class for the first time, must complete the Blackboard Online Orientation (BOO) found by clicking on the button to the right of this screen that reads “Blackboard Online Orientation.” For additional information about Blackboard, please contact Ms. Shelia Hobbs at 757.569.6739 or shobbs@pdc.edu or Zakary Wade at 757.569.6718 or zwade@pdc.edu. For specific information on the online course or courses in which you are enrolled, please contact the instructor.
