I first started with the Virginia Community College System in the spring of 2005 as an Adjunct instructor at Thomas Nelson Community College. There, I taught Anatomy and Physiology, part 1. I then moved on to Tidewater Community College, Portsmouth campus in the fall of 2006, where I taught General Biology, part 1. I was a full-time middle school science teacher while I was an Adjunct faculty member with the community college. The opportunity then came forward for me to become a full-time Biology instructor at Paul D. Camp Community College and I have been since August 2010. I received both of my degrees in Biology, from Old Dominion University and Hampton University. I plan to start and complete a doctoral program soon.
