Dr. Rogers has been at PDCCC since 2004 when she admitted the first Nursing Class. She has 20 years’ experience in the practice setting as a Registered Nurse in addition to over 20 years teaching and administrative experience. She provides oversight for the Nursing, Nurse Aide, and Phlebotomy Programs. She also has oversight for the Medication Aide and CPR courses. Dr. Rogers is currently working to offer programs in Practical Nursing and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Dr. Rogers began her education as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She attended Thomas Nelson Community College and received her Associate Degree in Applied Science, major Nursing. Her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Nursing were awarded from Hampton University. She received a Doctor of Science (DSN) in Nursing Education Administration from the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
