One of 23 colleges in the Virginia Community College System, Paul D. Camp Community College serves the cities of Franklin and Suffolk and the counties of Isle of Wight and Southampton. Beginning as a one-campus institution in Franklin in 1971, it has since expanded to include a Campus in Suffolk, an off-campus Center in Smithfield and a Regional Workforce Development Center in Franklin.
