Atomic Learning at PDCCC

 

Atomic Learning is an online technology training and professional development tool for educators. Atomic Learning allows you to learn at your own pace on your time schedule. To access Atomic Learning for PDCCC, follow these steps:

Log in to Blackboard.

Click on the College Connect tab. (See image below).

Click on the “Software and Technology Learning Resources” link.

A new tab will open and automatically log you in to Atomic Learning which will have a search box in the middle of the screen.  (See image below).

Click on the “Software and Technology Learning Resources” link.

Enter a phrase related to the basic tutorial for which you are searching. It is helpful to enter the software version for which you want to see the tutorial (PowerPoint 2013 in the image below).

Click on the “Search” button and if any video tutorials are found, the Series Title will be presented to the user.  In the example presented below, the title is “PowerPoint 2013 – Adding Media Training.”

Click on the series title and the tutorial page will load.

Click on Expand All, to expand the different videos that are part of the video tutorial.

To begin viewing the videos, click on the video links.

Finally, instructions for embedding Atomic Learning links in to a Blackboard course can also be gleaned through Atomic Learning videos. To view this tutorial set, enter the following search string: “Atomic Learning Blackboard Building Block.”
