Fall High School Scholarships

There are three types of scholarships available to High School Students:

  • Dual Enrollment Camp Opportunity Scholarships (DECOS)
  • Scholarships for Graduating High School Students
  • Scholarships for New & Continuing Students

Dual Enrollment Camp Opportunity Scholarships (DECOS) are available to high school juniors and seniors who qualify for fall, spring and summer semesters. They pay up to 50% of the total dual enrollment tuition & fees. The application process is almost identical to all the other PDCCC scholarship applications, except FAFSA is not required. Students applying for this scholarship may click yes when asked if their FAFSA is complete.

Scholarships for Graduating High School Students are available for the fall semester following graduation. Although students may apply for all scholarships they qualify for, they should pay particular attention to three scholarships exclusively for graduating seniors:

Workforce Scholarships

PDCCC has several scholarships available for students pursuing “non-credit” instuction and certificates, such as forklift, clamp and reach truck training, fast track welding, Marine Coatings, Electrician and more. These scholarships are distributed throughout the year in increments ranging from $50 to $250 and up. Additionally, those who apply for and are awarded PDCCC’s GED and Adult Education Scholarship can apply those funds toward Workforce Development courses.

Scholarships include:

  • Workforce/LogistX Scholarship focuses primarily on logistics and warehousing related coursework
  • GED & Adult Education Scholarship focuses those who have received their GED in the last five years and want to pursue a certificate or degree that will help them secure jobs and/or admission to a 4-year college or university
