This Scholarship is available for Fall Semester Only.

Amount: $750 (may be used for books, tuition or supplies)

The Suffolk Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change.

Criteria:

  • Available to any person who enrolls in a degree program after having been out of school or college for at least three years.
  • Two letters of reference (must be attached to application)
  • A short essay explaining why you consider attending PDCCC to be a “second chance” at education and why this award would be financially beneficial to you (must be attached to application)
  • Resident of City of Suffolk
  • Prospective, current, or former PDCCC student
