In honor of Women’s History Month, the Paul D. Camp Community College Student Government Association will host a free summit highlighting women’s issues and interests Saturday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Regional Workforce Development Center, 100 North College Drive, Franklin.
“Empowerment: A Woman’s Image,” will focus on Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM), education, law, and esteem and choices. The event includes vendors and informational booths as well, and will feature Danielle Williams of Norfolk State University, the Rev. Janelle Riddick of Walk In It Inc., Santia Davis of Naval Facilities Engineering Command Mid-Atlantic and Attorney Inga Francis of Suffolk City Public Schools.
