Paul D. Camp Community College’s Office of Student Activities and Student Government Association, along with the Franklin Southampton Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity is sponsoring a free leadership workshop, “I Am Able—Leading with Confidence, Competence and Creativity,” on Saturday, Sept. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Regional Workforce Development Center, 100 North College Drive, Franklin.
The workshop will provide a framework for effective 21st century leadership. Effective leaders engage in advanced planning, demonstrate a commitment to the organization they serve, and possess an understanding of parliamentary procedure.
Participants will gain a better understanding of why it is essential for leaders to provide clear vision and sound guidance to their organization. This interactive workshop will highlight the essential skills necessary to implement effective leadership that requires confidence, competence and creativity.
