A capping ceremony held Tuesday, May 6, 2014 marked a successful year completed by 19 Paul D. Camp Community College nursing students. The ceremony marked a mid-point for them in the Nursing program, as next year they will receive pins and formally graduate from the College’s Nursing Program. (After graduation, they are eligible to sit for the examination, which will allow them to be titled “Registered Nurses.”)

The event, held at PDCCC’s Regional Workforce Development Center, featured guest speaker Tami Williams, RN, of Southside Regional Medical Center. Williams is also a PDCCC graduate.
