Paul D. Camp Community College Sets Financial Aid College Night

Paul D. Camp Community College will hold its annual Financial Aid College Night on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Regional Workforce Development Center, 100 North College Drive, Franklin.

“This event shouldn’t be confused with other college nights,” said Financial Aid Coordinator Teresa Harrison. “Financial Aid College Night focuses on providing information to students and parents about how to select and pay for college.”

Free pizza and soda will be served from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by the presentation of information regarding planning and paying for college. Some of the topics include “Scholarship Searches and Scams” and “How College Can Change Your Life.”

In addition, door prizes will be awarded and participants have the opportunity to be included in a random drawing of four $500 scholarships, but one must be present to win. Photos of the winners will be taken that night.
