PDCCC nursing students hold Health Career Fair at Workforce Development Center

The Paul D. Camp Community College Nursing Student Association is sponsoring a Health Career Fair on Thursday, March 21, from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Regional Workforce Development Center, 100 North College Drive, Franklin.

Ann Pinner, Faculty Advisor for the PDCCC NSA said, “The purpose of the event is to provide information about health career education and employment opportunities for the PDCCC nursing and allied health students, but also interested citizens in the community.”

Hospitals, universities that offer nursing programs and other health care agencies will have informational booths set up during the event. Proceeds from booth space will be used for NSA members to attend the National Student Nurses Association’s 61st annual convention in Charlotte, NC, April 3-7. The organization provides educational resources, leadership opportunities and career guidance to future registered nurses.

Health Career Fair attendance is free and open to the public. If you are interested in securing booth space, please contact Pinner, 757-569-6733, apinner@pdc.edu
