Learn to take control of your camera and become more creative in this non -credit community course. Both film and digital photographers are welcome.
This class will introduce you to the workings of your camera with the components identified and explained. Beyond the technical aspects of photography, the class will cover composition and creative use of depth of field (blurred, soft background vs. detailed-sharp background). You will learn how to see and read light to add drama to your images.
Weekly assignments to enhance classroom instruction. The final class meeting will cover organizing and archiving images, photo resources, image critiques, and follow-up questions.
Bring your camera, instruction manual, film/digital media and your questions!
