The first step to becoming a student at Paul D. Camp Community College is to complete an Application for Admission. We have an Online Application process that we encourage all future students to use.
Who needs to complete an application?
Any future student who has never taken a class at PDCCC or has not taken a class in the past 3 years needs to fill out the application.
If you have attended another Virginia Community College but have never attended PDCCC, an application is needed.
Can I apply on paper or in person?
Yes. Future students can still fill out a paper application that is available in one of the Admissions Offices on campus at PDCCC, or that can be printed from this site: Print Application Now
If you want to fill out a printed application complete each item on the attached applications and return to the Admissions Office.
Please note: Disclosure of your social security number is not required at this time, but it is highly recommended. Disclosure ultimately will be required for most students at the time of enrollment, per § 6050S of the Restructuring and Reform Act of 1998, or at the time of disbursement of federal financial aid, per 34 Code of Federal Regulations Part 668.36. Section 23-2.2:1 of the Code of Virginia also authorizes the Virginia Community College System to collect student social security numbers and other information prior to a student’s enrollment for identification and electronic transmission to the State Police. The VCCS will only use your social security number in accordance with federal and state reporting requirements, and for identification purposes within the VCCS. It shall not permit further disclosure unless required or authorized by the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, 20 U.S.C. § 1232g, or pursuant to your obtained consent.
(Note: social security number is required for financial aid applicants.)
Students who are at least 18 and do not have a high school diploma or GED, must indicate “ability to benefit” from college placement tests if pursuing a curriculum. Send applications to:
