I am passionate about teaching! I love to teach others about the importance of Early Childhood Development and the impact they have on the most important years of a child’s life.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University, and a Masters of Education degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Phoenix. I have over 20 years of experience in the field of Education. I began my career teaching in a local preschool program. I also taught first and second grade for Isle of Wight County Public Schools. Prior to accepting this position, I was the Director of Early Childhood Education for a local non-profit agency, the Children’s Center. Originally, I began with Paul D. Camp Community College as an Adjunct Instructor. I am excited to be onboard as an Assistant Professor of Early Childhood Education. I am here to assist students to be successful and to achieve their goals with excellence.
