Reserve Conference Rooms

The conference rooms on both the Hobbs campus and Franklin campus may be reserved through Outlook or OWA if you have a pdc.edu email.

In the room list, the rooms are:

#Dr. Joyner Conference Rm

#Hobbs Conference Room

The President’s office has the right to override any reservation.

Reserve a conference room using Outlook

  • Open your Outlook calendar
  • Select New Meeting
  • Click on Rooms on the Location line
  • Select the desired conference room
  • Click on Rooms at bottom of dialog box, then on OK
    • This puts the room name in the To line and the Location line. DELETE the Location line room name and key in the reason for the reservation. This shows on the room calendar and will let other people know why you requested the room. Please be short in the description.
  • Select date and start/end times
  • Additional information may be put in message area
  • Click Send
  • You will receive an acceptance or rejection of your request

Reserve a study room using OWA

  • Select Calendar at the top right of the OWA menu
  • Select your calendar
  • Click on New at top left
  • Event line info will show on your calendar
  • Click ADD ROOM at the end of the Location line
  • Select the desired room from the drop down menu
  • DELETE the Location line room name and key in the reason for the reservation. This shows on the room calendar and will let other people know why you requested the room. Please be short in the description.
  • Fill in details of the request (Start date, times, etc)
  • Click on Send
  • You will receive an acceptance or rejection of your request.
