Inauguration of PDCCC President Daniel W. Lufkin, Ed.D.
Paul D. Camp Community College welcomes Daniel W. Lufkin, Ed.D., as the college’s eighth president. Dr. Lufkin has served the college since June 28, 2016, and has extensive experience in varied leadership roles in higher education. His primary focus is on implementing accessible, affordable and quality programs that allow students the opportunities to achieve their personal, academic and career goals. This supports his vision of making PDCCC the region’s first choice when pursuing a post-secondary education. Dr. Lufkin gives back to the community in which he lives, as is evident with his volunteerism with youth sports and the Franklin Rotary Club. Dr. Lufkin resides in Smithfield with his wife, Catey, and their two children, Lily, 9, and Layton, 6.
PDCCC is pleased to announce that the Inauguration Ceremony for President Lufkin will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017, at 2:00 p.m., at the college’s Regional Workforce Development Center in Franklin. The event will include his formal installation as president by the Virginia Community College System Chancellor Dr. Glenn DuBois.
