The March of Dimes and CommonHealth: A Perfect Pair
Please join us for the PDCCC March of Dimes/ CommonHealth Family Wellness Campaign.
The kickoff meeting is Monday March 16 at 11:30 in the staff lounge on the Franklin Campus.
We will have a Build Your Own Salad Bar. We will provide the greens, grilled chicken for the salad, and bottled water. Please bring your favorite vegetable, healthy topping, or dressing to share.
The goal of the March of Dimes of Virginia is to help babies in our community start life in the healthiest way possible. Through education and intervention, we help moms-to-be learn how to take care of themselves before, during and after their pregnancy. Trina Jones is the PDCCC March of Dimes Captain.
The goal of CommonHealth is to promote wellness in the workplace in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Programs cover a variety of health and wellness subjects and are educational and fun to help you stay fit and healthy. Carol Wright is the CommonHealth Coordinator.
Together, our goal is to raise money and awareness about the March of Dimes while focusing on a Healthy YOU, so we can build healthy families!
We will host health challenges throughout the spring & summer so you can focus on the health of you, your co-workers, and your family, while getting ready for the March of Dimes walk.
Lets raise some dimes and dollars and have some FUN!!!
