The Forklift and Warehouse Foundations program provides training that covers employability and career readiness skills, OSHA safety knowledge, and forklift, clamp, and reach truck operation. 

The program includes the Forklift certificate, Clamp Truck certificate, and Reach Truck certificate from JJ Keller, OSHA 10 General Industry, and WorkKeys CRC.

*Must be 18 years or older.  No high school or GED is required if paying full tuition.  If you are applying for a scholarship, high school or GED IS required.

Tuition: $650.00*

WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate (3.5 hrs)
Dates: Spring 2021: January 18, 2021

OSHA 10 General Industry (10 hrs)
Dates: Spring 2021: January 19 – 21, 2021
Days/Times: Tuesday/Wednesday, 1:00 – 4:30 PM
and Thursday, 1:00 – 4:00 PM

This 10 Hour General Industry Outreach Training Program is intended to provide a variety of training to workers with some safety responsibility.

Training will emphasize hazard identification, avoidance, control and prevention.

Topics covered are Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces including fall protection, Exit Routes, Emergency Action Plans, Fire Prevention Plans, and Fire Protection, Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment, Hazard Communication, Material Handling, Machine Guarding, Lockout /Tag out, and Permit- Required Confine Spaces.


Forklift, Clamp and Reach Truck Operator (15 hrs)
Dates: Spring 2021: January 19 – 21, 2021
Days/Times: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m.
Instructor: W. White
Place: Camp Regional Warehouse and Distribution Training Facility***

You will participate in this 15- hour forklift, clamp truck, and reach truck operator course with 5 hours of classroom and 10 hours of hands-on using a forklift, clamp truck, and reach truck as well as OSHA safety requirements.

Participants will receive classroom and operational certificates.


Employability Skills (9 hrs)
Dates: Spring 2021: January 22, 2021
Day/Time: Monday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

This course provides an overview of the qualities and characteristics recognized by employers as important for employee success. Topics covered are: Basic Computers, Interpersonal skills, Professionalism, and Communications.
