Fall 2026 Tuition and Fee Rate Chart
The State Board for Community Colleges has approved the following tuition and fees rates effective Fall 2026:
Total in-state tuition and fees = $178.65 per credit hour. This includes the Virginia Community College System in-state Tuition rate of $175.00 per credit hour, and Camp’s student activity fee of $2.40 per credit hour and auxiliary fee of $1.25 per credit hour. This tuition and fee rate applies to Virginia residents/military, contract, dual enrollment, and eRate students. Residency is determined by the college Office of Admissions. Some distance learning courses may not qualify for the eRate.
Total out-of-state tuition and fees = $395.75. This includes the Virginia Community College System out-of-state Tuition rate of $363.60, and Camp’s student activity fee of $2.40 per credit hour, auxiliary fee of $1.25 per credit hour, and capital fee of $28.50 per credit hour. Residency is determined by the college Office of Admissions.
Beginning Fall 2026, CTE course-specific fees will be charged in the following areas:
- $50 per credit hour for identified Healthcare courses
- $25 per credit hour for identified Skilled Trades courses
- $25 per credit hour for identified Agriculture & Natural Resources courses
Fees are applied only to identified high‑cost courses within each group—guided by cost study and course review—rather than universally across the category. Charged per credit hour and applicable to specific courses. Assessed to fund costs related to high cost programs.
For academic year 2026–2027, fees will be introduced at a reduced rate of 50%.
