Become an educator. Camp offers an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Education for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree and meet the state teacher certification requirements for Early Childhood (PK-3), Elementary (PK-6), Middle School (6-8), or selected areas of Special Education.
Camp also offers a career pathway in Early Childhood Education that prepares students to care for, supervise, and educate young children from birth to eight years of age.
Career pathways at Camp prepare students for entry into a career, and then provide additional levels of learning to help students progress in the career. Each certificate or degree in the pathway builds on prior learning, and courses already completed at one level are applied to the next.
