  • Complete an application online at apply.vccs.edu or pick up an application from the Office of Admissions
    *There is no application fee

Apply for Financial Aid

  • Complete and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.gov
  • Paul D Camp Community College’s school code is 009159

Schedule a Placement Test if you meet any of the following criteria (Beginning fall 2020, a placement test will not be required for entering students).

  • You graduated from high school less than 5 years ago and DO NOT have a 2.7 high school GPA
  • You graduated high school more than 5 years ago and have never taken college level English or Math
  • You do not have qualifying SAT or ACT scores (See counselor/advisor for the requirements)
  • You do not have qualifying GED Math/English scores (See counselor/advisor for the requirements)
  • You completed developmental coursework more than 5 years ago

Order Transcripts and/or Score Reports

  • Order official transcripts from high school and any other college/universities attended and send to Camp Community College, ATTN: Registrar, 100 N. College Dr., Franklin, VA 23851 or transcripts@pdc.edu
  • Provide official SAT, ACT, or GED scores to Office of Admissions ATTN: Registrar
  • Any transferrable credit will be evaluated and posted to your Camp academic record
  • Request an Evaluation of Transcripts if you attended another VCCS college

Meet with an Advisor or Counselor

  • An advisor or counselor will discuss your test results and any other entrance requirements, provide assistance with course scheduling and set up your first semester courses.
  • Register for classes in person or online at MyCamp

Pay for Classes (Camp is very affordable!)

  • Pay tuition and fees by the deadline
  • Pay in person using our dropbox
  • Pay by credit card (Visa or MasterCard) online through MyCamp

Participate in New Student Orientation

  • Complete the online New Student Orientation
  • Attend Welcome Day at Camp
  • Obtain your picture student ID from the Library
    *Memorize Your Student ID Number
