Head Coach: Sean Wade  

Bio:
Coach Wade co-founded the travel ball organization Southampton Storm in 2010. Winning 10 championships and securing players scholarships to play at the collegiate level. In 2014 coach Wade merged and co-founded Top Hand Storm, where he has won 25 championships and secured college scholarships for players. In 2019 he coached Top Hand Storm 18u to a USSSA National Championship. Overall coach Wade has secured 38 players scholarships to play at the collegiate level. 

Wade coached Windsor High School to a 92- 20 record over six years from 2012 to 2018. He coached Windsor varsity to 19 wins in 2018 (the most ever by Windsor varsity softball) and a regional runner up. Coach Wade has also coached at Kings Fork High School and Tidewater Academy. 

Wade was the assistant coach at Camp College from 2018 until 2021. In 2019, he helped coach the team to 20 game wins and to the playoffs. He also coached the Player of the Year in 2019. Coach Wade became the head coach in the Spring of 2021 succeeding coach Carrie Hoeft. 

Coach Wade is a graduate of Southampton High School and Tidewater Community College. He is currently enrolled at Camp Community College.


Assistant Coach: Brittany Wade  

Bio:
Brittany played travel ball and school ball locally. After she graduated from Windsor High School, she attended Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, WV to continue her academic and athletic career. There she started all three years behind the plate and was unable to play her fourth year due to COVID-19 and an injury. She received her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and minored in both Psychology and Athletic Training. Currently, coach Brittany is enrolled in the RN program at Camp Community College.  

As an athlete in high school, she was a Five-time First team all-conference, Three-time First team all-district (2014, 2015, & 2016), Two-time First team all-region (2014 & 2015), Second team all-region (2016), First team all-state (2013), Second team all-state (2012, 2014, & 2015), Offensive Player of the Year (2012 & 2013), Co-Offensive MVP (2016), Tri-Rivers District Player of the Year (2015), Female Athlete of the Year (2015-2016), and Virginia Marine Female Athlete of the Year (2015-2016). 

In college, she was named to the Great Midwest Athletic Conference All-Conference Honorable Mention Team (2018) and All-academic team (2017, 2018, & 2019); ranked in the top 10 for the NCAA DII Toughest to Strike Out (2017) and the starting catcher on the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Runner Up team (2017). 

This will be her first full year as the assistant coach for Camp Community College.
