Program Purpose:

The Industrial Automation and Robotics program is designed to provide students with basic Machine Language programming skills, problem solving skills, and troubleshooting techniques used in various industrial and robotic technological fields.

Students successfully completing this program will be able to…

  • Explain the purpose and function of input/output assemblies, the central processor unit, the power supply, and programming device.
  • Create, design, and troubleshoot a variety of robotic programs.
  • Utilize a variety of test equipment to measure voltage, current, and resistance.
  • Demonstrate the knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and math to solve technological problems.

How long will I need to be in college?

A college-ready student attending Camp full-time can complete this career studies certificate in two semesters.

Upon completion of the program, graduates will possess the knowledge and skills required to work in entry-level field of industrial automation, robot operators, robotics service technicians, robotics consultants, and robotics engineers.
